Cheryl is an Ojai midwife and childbirth & adolescence educator working from a pre and perinatal therapy perspective. She is a homeschooling mother to 4 children, toddler to teen, and has been supporting birthing families since she became an ALACE certified childbirth educator in 2000. She certified as a DONA doula and also began attending homebirths as an assistant in 2001. She completed a traditional homebirth midwifery apprenticeship integrated with pre and perinatal therapy with local midwife Mary Jackson in 2014, which included the Castellino Prenatal and Birth Therapy Foundation Training, and is a BEBA board member. She is currently studying Herbal Medicine for Women with Aviva Romm, MD. Full spectrum well-woman care, homebirth midwifery, monitrice care for planned hospital births and postpartum, group classes and private sessions for childbirth & parenting preparation, and adolescence support are among the services Cheryl offers.
